Welcome To The Practice

Covid Booster Vaccines

The Health Secretary has recently announced that booster doses will be brought forward to 3 months following 2nd doses.  We have not yet received offical notice that we can vaccinate anyone before 6 months.  When we are given the go ahead to vaccinate earlier, we will contact you and send a link for you to book your appointment at our pop-up clinic at Grappenhall Surgery.  Please do not contact the surgery, we will contact you.  Please ensure that we have your most up-to-date mobile number so we can send you the link.

We have now started booking patients for their covid booster vaccine.  You will be contacted when you booster is due, this will be no sooner than 182 days following your 2nd dose.  We will be holding weekly covid booster pop-up clinics at Grappenhall Surgery. You will receive a link via a text message to book your appointment.  Please ensure you update us with your mobile number so you do not miss out on your vaccine.  If you are unable to book via the link, please contact Kat on 07851 960244 to book your appointment for you.  If you are eligible for a flu vaccine, you can receive this at the same time.

We have had a new delivery of flu vaccines and will be holding drop-in clinics for all patients over 50 on Monday 6th, 13th and 20th of December between 2pm and 5pm at Grappenhall Surgery.

Please remember to wear a face covering.

If you are travelling abroad this summer and need proof of your covid vaccination status, please click on this link for information Demonstrating your COVID-19 vaccination status when travelling abroad - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

GP Surgeries will not be providing letters for proof of covid vaccination status.

Please note, the vaccination passport on the NHS App is currently only available for vaccinations given in England.  If you have had your vaccines in Wales please refer to the Gov.Wales website for information.

If you have had your vaccinations abroad, we are happy to add them to your GP record with proof of the vaccine, but this information will not show in the vaccination passport.

Covid 19 Vaccination
